Metal Gear Online

It didn't take long for the Metal Gear Online beta to be updated with a new map and a new gameplay mode. And this mode will sure please a lot of the fans of the series since it involves one player controlling Snake and trying to stay alive. Thanks to KurowaSan for the video.
Update: Dot50Cal sent us this video yesterday showing the first map via the viewpoint of two players. No there isn't any splitscreen mode, it's just 2 videos spliced into one.
Update 2: DjMizuhara sent us this video showing Snake in action, it was his first playing as the old guy, so he definitely doesn't show all his moves there.

Our friend DjMizuhara finally managed to connect to the Metal Gear Online beta and recorded this first gameplay video! He's really enjoying the game so far.
Update: Second video added. DjMizuhara got a tad more experience than before, and it shows.

The beta of Metal Gear Online has been delayed until the 25th, but our friend DjMizuhara still managed to at least get to the character creation system, and recorded this video.

Konami and Metal Gear again, now with nine new (for sure this time) images of Metal Gear Online. The multiplayer mode of MGS3 was a little bit special but far from uninteresting, with some luck it could be something really cool. Can't wait for a PSN demo!

Konami announces that MGS4 and Metal Gear Online will launch on June, 12th, and releases a teaser site from which we took several tiny new screenshots of the multiplayer game. And since we're at it, let's add the direct-feed TGS 2007 trailer of MGO that we didn't have at the time.

Metal Gear Online, an exclusive Playstation 3 title, is discovered once again with these very clear images and the an already known human catapult (!) catapult, my new favourite non-weapon of the game. The quality of what you will see after the jump is incredible.

Here is a gameplay video of Metal Gear Online which could look terrible by just watching the game, but I'm sure that the game has the potential of being less bland than we think.

Now moving on to the Sony stuff, here is three images from Metal Gear Solid 4, and another three from Metal Gear Online. Don't forget to check out our awesome floor video put online earlier today.

While I'm writing these lines, Konami gave the english script from the pre-Tokyo Game Show trailer of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots which will be shown in a couple of hours. While waiting, we offer you the chance to check some incredible scans containing massive spoilers, like this one : MGS4 will have a simultaneous worldwide release. Inside, you will also find photos from said script and a scan of Metal Gear Online, which will be bundled with MGS4. Need I say again : spoilers!

Konami and Kojima Productions also announced Metal Gear Online for Playstation 3, with a closed beta starting today. Nice.
