Wasn't this confirmed to come with MGS4 and not as a standalone game?

Can't wait for MGS4 thats for sure, but didn't the company say that MGO will be included with MGS4 as a starters pack, a demo, and if you want the whole thing you have to buy it seperetly.

That or you install MGO through MGS4 disc and then you buy it off PSN.

Anyway, I know some sort of a playable MGO will be cinluded with MGS4, so I can't wait. If it's very good, I might get it.

Thats possibly the craziest, biggest rip off i've ever heard of, imagine buying your Ghost Recons, Rainbow Sixes or C&Cs and have to pay for the online side of it, ridiculous, no matter how great a game looks or how well it pays, having to pay separately for the online side of it is just plane ol' stupid.

MGS4 will only have a starter pack, or a demo of sorts for Metal Gear Online, meaning if you want to experience the complete thing, you'll have to buy the standalone version.

It is obvious that the game is near Epsilon status...

actually your half right. come launch you will be able to buy the starter pack. which has MGS4 in all its awesome glory, and a small 4 map multiplayer, in terms of modes and weapons it will be a full fledged multiplayer title, in terms of maps however, it will be limited. if you want more, you pay for them over the PSN as the create them. at least thats what i've heard.

First it would come as a standalone, but then one of the creators announced it would come along with it. Unless I'm turning it all around the wrong way.

I don't care how much it's going to cost. I've been waiting for this game ever since MGS3 servers shut down ages ago. There's just something about MGO that's fun, probably the fact that it isn't a "run in with guns a blazing" type of game. It's more strategic.

Besides, the graphics downgrade from that first showing a long time ago is way too obvious, as it is, even GRAW 1 looks better, which is truly a shame because that game is OLD. Besides, what is this bringing in terms of MP? Catapults? Wow....

Well I for one am unsure about MGO, if it was fun, I might get it, if not, I won't. If there is a way to play this for free like a demo, I would definitely try it.

But that won't happen until MGS4 is out or a seperated demo on PSN.

You are NOT gonna pay for the online.
PS3 games dont have fees for online games, look at Warhawk.

The only thing you have to pay for is the full game, if you want it, then its just go and play for FREE.

if i understand what i've read, its like halo mutliplayer. The base is free, you have full functionality, but you have to DL additional maps...kinda like the 5$ you had to pay for the three new maps on halo2 and whatnot

he don't want to pay for a game which will have online only.
and i do understand that. all games (at least most) have both - single & online when you buy it.
it's cheap trick for getting more money from gamers.
