About Gamersyde

Gamersyde is a commercial multiplatform web portal based in Europe, with hundreds of thousands of visitors each month from all over the world. We cover both handheld and video games platforms and the site has grown into one of the biggest gaming sites in the continent. We are able to offer fast news delivery and HD content from the upcoming games, and one of the greatest and friendliest gaming communities in the world. The HD content we provide always respects the original resolution and framerate of the games we capture, making Gamersyde the one and only place to get 1080p/60fps videos with high bitrate. At a time when Youtube's awful video compression has become the norm for most people on the Internet, we refuse to give up quality without a fight. The content we produce is obviously not free of use should you want to upload our videos on your own website or YouTube channel.

Melmoth @Tiz: Most big games were larger than what a standard CD-ROM disc could store, so it wasn't unusual that pirated games were lacking audio tracks or movies. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @Tiz: Sega used a proprietary GD-ROM format (about 1GB discs) for storage. It did not stop piracy though as you with a bootdisc could start cd-r copies without the need to hard mod the console. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I think it was apparent to people.. even before the system launched.. that the early launch of the Dreamcast was risky. So I can see how EA might want to play hardball to sweeten the deal on said risk (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX They also sold 2K and exited the console business... so maybe it wasn't all the best course of action after all :D (4 Hours ago)
