Actually I'm quite speachless.....I'm officially buying this day 1.

I want to type alot about why I like this...but I rather go scream like a little girl out of joy and watch that trailer again.

I think this game look great! The new Dante dosen't bother me much. He look more realistic that way. If Ninja Theory is making it I'm sure it will be better then DMC4.

And to all you people who you use the ''gay'' word for something negative, **** you homophobe.

Ninja theory makes good games (if u like their style)..albeit the ps3 exclusive being a bit short, it still had alots of emotion/story and very like-able characters. The faces were done very very well. A game doesnt have to be perfect to be good. So called perfect games (according to many) like gta/halo/modern warfare, are to me ...a mess.

I think Enslaved is a beautiful lush game. With again characters that are interesting and different.

My point is, you either love their work or you dont. Stating ur opinion as a fact is not charming at all.

I Love it too... I wasn't all that into the previous DMC games... I mean they were good I just wasn't mad about them... this looks far more appealing to me..
I can understand why all you hardcore old Dante fans are pissed but in re-imagining a franchise you are always bound to annoy the people that loved it the old way and just wanted more of the same... I personally am into this so far.. gameplay pending of course.. and I am also glad that being young he has some frailty to him, even though he can obviously still kick ass. And fashion wise well I like the fact that younger dante went through different fazes until he eventually found the right look.. as the devopers explain if you read the gamespot impressions on the game..
I'm glad there is at least one other person here that likes the new DMC...

I'm glad too..this couldve been a lonely ride to the release date. (one that I am able to sit through)

I could love this game all alone by myself....but as in DMC..the more souls(orbs) the better.

Even if this game did have a similar aesthetic to the other games, it’s still being made by Ninja Theory. Expect mash-friendly fights, Simon Says bosses, a chain sword (oh wait), and awesome hat puzzles. All running at 15fps.

i think DMC3 was the best until HIDEKI K. made BAYONETTA. but the CHARAKTERDESIGN from both were a mess. lets see some gameplay before we judge the game. i like the ninja theory games. HEAVENLY SWORD was a really good game but it was to short. and enslaved looks also really good. give us GAMEPLAY VIDS CAPCOM.

@GREY FOX(best MG CHARACTER EVER) i think people overanalyse games nowadays. they nitpick on everything. back in my master system mega drive days there were no trailers and all that. i just picked a game looked on the back and thinking ( STREET OF RAGE mmh some dude who bashing punks and bullys and its 2players. TAKE IT)

Most DMC fans still await a proper sequel to DMC 3, that's why this is a disappointment. Re-imagining IP's has never been much okay with me. An IP is not just a product, it's a style, it's a certain character, it's a feeling. DMC 3 succeeded in keeping those properties from DMC 1 intact while still feeling fresh, but neither of the other games did. And from the looks of this re-imagined/reboot, neither will this. Don't get me wrong, it may still become a good and fun game, but a DMC it ain't.

as far as heavenly sword goes maybe... but I saw your comments on Enslaved and I couldn't disagree more... and 15fps?.. I don't think so.. but me and you will never agree... I have seen many a post I have disagreed with from you.. it's cool though your entitled to your opinion..

Ur totally right. I miss those days actually. Thats how I bought my first game (Ninja Gaiden 1 NES). The cover art...and the info on the back..made me buy it. (a Japanese ninja killing people in the USA = sold)

U have joined the group of people who actually make sense and explain things in a normal and intelligent way. I therefore understand ur point and I hope that those fans of have waited for that game....that they will get it eventually.

Obviously capcom is not finished making DMC games, so that trend will continue. The next one could be it.

I didnt like alot of things capcom did to many games...but this..to me, is a very good thing.

lol you know HEAVENLY SWORD was the first game from NINJA THEORY and they dont had a big name publisher back then. now thats change because they have NAMCO BANDAI(ENSLAVED) and CAPCOM.
