Gotta hate the freakin EA virals in EVERY pes related news on the internet.. seriously.. GTFO!!! this is about pes... and if youre truly a fan of fifa, we dont care if you prefer beautiful games with crap gameplay, dont need to let the rest of us know 1 bad game (pes2008) doesn't make all the previous pes disappear from the face of the planet.. any old pes kills fifa 09.
It´s nice to see Konami catching up on the license front, BUT maybe the money would have been better invested in developing a true next-gen engine. And it seems that the CL license was not a moneymaker for EA because they didn´t renew it.
It looks like an improvement, and some of the cut scenes do look nice. But once it cuts to the gameplay view, I dunno, it just looks so old hat. Very PS2-ish. I just can't help but feel that this CL license is a sugar coated veneer to mask the fact that this is nothing but a patched up PES 2008.

Sad thing is, it's not all teams. La Liga is lost, so think about it: you'll be having a game at some random stadium with Liverpool Vs Catalan Red or some bollocks like that. Pathetic, really. If you're going be be licensed, then do it right, not half arsed.

Actually, a lot of the spanish teams are still licensed.
