I really hope the combat system is a lot deeper and more complex than Eternal Sonata's. I never played an a Tales of game before. can anyone elaborate on the type of combat system we should be expecting ?

if like the other tales you go into a fight like eternal sonata and then their u jus slash up and attack ur enemy with moves u sign to a button. its great no turn base or that eternal sonata alternitibe turn base

They said they have plans to release it in Japan and USA this year. No word on Europ as they don't publish games there but I'm sure it will be picked up by another publisher.

alimokrane The battle system pretty much gonna be very the same to the series system, they ususally only add a new thing to it, if you don't know how the battle systems work just search for eg 'tales of the abyss ' on youtube and you will get a ton of examples on how it works. Thought it's very simulary to Eternal Sonata's system, only mayor difference is no turn based.

Looks IMO okay so far.

I don’t like the design of the hero… I guess it’s supposed to look cool but IMO he looks like a pussy.

the environments look fantastic, that being said I have tried two Tales of games and couldn't get into either one. First was Tales of Eternia on PSP - I thought it was too difficult and required too much grinding so i gave up 2 hours into it. Second was Tales of the world?! for PSP (the new PSP one) and that was just a lame dungeon crawler.

Maybe the main console series is better? who knows

The graphics are good, not awesome but I like so much the art and style of the game. Looking forward for it

Love the artstyle... I guess the story is the most important now... but can't really connect myself when playing as a female character.

I like the art style but I do not like the black outlines. I prefer no outlines, Wind Waker style. I find things to blend better artistically without lines, especially considering the Japanese anime look.
