It's more concept art than anything else, but I like the direction. I'm curious how stuff from other Ubi Franchises like Splinter Cells tie into this one, though.

this is made by the people that make the not very good splinter cell games isnt it?
ie pandora tomorrow and double agent
that real splinter cell people are working on conviction
but who knows maybe they've got better in time
it could be a good game though
will have to wait for some vids/developer explonation of how the game actually plays

Though developed by Ubisoft Shanghai, I have high hope on this game because many of design guys from The Creative Assembly which made Total War series are key people of EndWar dev team. Total War has been such a great game which combines Civilization with massive battle. From what I've heard until now, EndWar is definitely influenced by Total War and that drives me crazy. This and Empire Total War is one of my most anticipated game of next year.

Ton Clancys name is just a signal of another generic, grey, war based, generally shooter.

Its a shame, back in the day of Ghost Recon and Raven Shield, Tom Clancy games actually had a bit of class, but it seems you can only draw the same picture so many before people realise you've just changed the name.

I wouldnt be suprised if it turned out to be an RTS tbh lol..

What the hell is wrong with most game designers!?

Can they honestly not get any inspiration from anything but war? It's so booooring now. You may say, "but it's a popular genre, and they want to make money". If they wanted to really make money, they'd be better off trying to create a best-selling game. Have a look at the best selling games of all time, the list pretty much consists of:
Pokemon, GTA, Mario, Nintendogs (?!), Gran Turismo and FF7. Along with their sequels, that's the top 20 according to wikipedia, which as we all know, is gospel. Sorry, I don't see any war games, or even first person shooters for that matter.

this game isn't a FPS and not an normal "war game"
it is an RTS with speech controls.

so do not make this game bad because most of you will love it.
here are some facts that you should know about this game before rating it:

- unreal 3 engine
- full destructible environments
- complete speech controll
- stunning multiplayer (you can play "single player" with human enemy's)
- 3 factions with different weapons and classes

that are only some of the facts for this great game.

believe me this game will change the RTS genre and rule for years

I guessed right then =D Look forward to it now, bored of FPS and 3rd person games really.

Worst concept art ever... Various resolutions of jaggies, photos mashed with 3d assets and crap screen captures... these are fine as internal mock-ups but why would they release this to the public???

And yeah war games are so 2005... let's move on please...

half in game? lol..and why the hell would you do that with a bloody rts?? just do a decent job and make it cool lookin or put up a proper bloody screen

With Ubisoft's great reputation for making visually stunning games, why would they released these obviously doctored screenshots? Just look at the inconsistency of resolution and anti-alias in each of the screenshots. Some areas look painted, some edges look jagged, and some areas look as sharp as a razor in each photo respectively.

People complaining about shooters...youre forgetting this is a TOM CLANCY game, of course its gonna deal with war. dont like it? then dont play it. I personally cant wait, this game looks badass

At the end of the day, we've seen it all before, C&C, World In Conflict, Joint Task Force, and the slightly off Company Of Heroes + Supreme Commander.

Hey, how about we bring out another WWII game? It wont revolutionize anything, they've just taken the models from Quake Wars, turned down the pixels and put a top down camera, Big whoop!
