We finally managed to get our hands on the pre-TGS Microsoft conference stream, and here comes the fifteen minutes long presentation of Lost Odyssey, performed by Sakaguchi himself.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2007-09-13 15:24:57There was a fairly noticeable different in damage when he got a perfect and a bad.
I don't know how it works, i'm guessing it's something to do with timing of a button, and i would guess this build is all but finished, seeing as it is being released in Nov.
I'm a bit sad to see random battles still, but i can live with it, some of the animations are still stiff and clunky.

Commented on 2007-09-13 16:03:56OMG OMG OMG @ the Battle system . I love turn-based.
Commented on 2007-09-13 16:39:13the spell effects look amazing. one thing i didn't like about blue dragon was that the spell effects looked a bit realistic in a stylized world and it didn't mesh well. looks like they got it right with lost odyssey
i really liked the somewhat dynamic camera work in the battles as well. i hope they decide to add another angle or two for the attack animations because seeing the same attack from the same angle over and over again gets kind of old. imo little things like that can make a big difference for the overall quality of the game
what really impressed me was the sound. very convincing (the footsteps and the door closing) and appropriate (the swords actually sound like they're sharp and slashing something)
can't wait to play this. i hope sakaguchi and co. can deliver with this game
Commented on 2007-09-13 16:51:13Game still looks good overall. Timing on the attacks probably coincides with hitting the button as the outer circle meets the inner one, reminicent of the pre-attack timing in Mario RPG.

Loved how he put his hands up as the wind was too much for him making it hard to move. I love the special effects. Man I only wish it were longer! lol
