PS4 Pro 4K HDR videos

Many people asked us to do more HDR video after the surprisingly positive reception of our Forza 7 ones a few days ago. Needless we don't have anymore HDR footage from upcoming games, but we have a lot of amazing looking PS4 Pro title to show off. I don't think many people will be surprised by the fact that we start with the still incredibly amazing looking Horizon: Zero Dawn, and these two videos showing a sunset, and a very high contract Cauldron sequence (slight spoilers in that one).
Update 6: After inFamous: Second Son, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Ratchet & Clank, WipEout Omega Collection, The Last of Us, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands and now a third video of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

GR: Wildlands depicts Fallen Ghosts

A release date and the first screenshots of Fallen Ghosts, the second expansion for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, have been shared by Ubisoft. Starting May 30 for Season Pass owners and June 6 for a separate buy, the Ghosts will be hunted by Los Extranjeros, a new special unit formed after the fall of Santa Blanca and composed of cartel members and other criminals whose objective is to track you down in order to help stop the civil war. They will also find themselves lost in the middle of the jungle while on mission to evacuate CIA members and civilians. More details and screenshots after the jump.

Let's admire Ghost Recon Wildlands

We may not be entirely convinced by the potential of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, but when it comes to beautiful landscapes, Ubisoft's title is undoubtedly impressive. Here are two viewpoints we discovered last night and we wanted to share. We are sorry we don't have the time to propose the kind of environment videos we made for Horizon: Zero Dawn, but we hope we'll be able to do so later so you can appreciate the game's visual variety. Until then, enjoy the passing of time in the two following extracts, both captured in real time.

Wildlands livestream replay

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands is now available to all, but since not many people seemed to be interested in our livestream yesterday, maybe the replay will be a little more popular.

Our videos of Ghost Recon Wildlands

Although we were sent our PS4 and PC copies of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands last Friday, we haven't had enough time to see everything the game has to offer. We however have prepared a bunch of videos of the PS4 Pro version (we figured PS4 players woulnd't mind since there was an open beta last week) and the PC one, played in 1080p with the graphics settings you can see at the beginning of the first PC video (we also lowered down the sharpen effect). It should be noted that the new Nvidia drivers haven't been released yet, which might explain the problems we encountered in terms of performance. The PC we used is quite powerful (i7 6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 Go RAM (DDR4), Windows 10, Nvidia GTX 1080 Founder's Edition MSI), but some options still are too demanding (which we can accept). Ubisoft's title still requires some optimisation on PC in our point of view though. All videos were captured on the highest difficulty setting. If you want to see the PC version in action, join us tonight at 9:15 CET for a new livestream.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands - Nvidia PC Trailer

The PC version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands offers specific visual options with Nvidia GameWorks. Get a look at some of these features with the screenshots inside plus the trailer, 1080p only but top-notch-crazy-bitrate quality (145Mbps). Ubisoft will release the game March 7 and the developer will support the game with post-launch contents, among which a free PvP mode.
