Ubisoft did not forget the current generation of consoles, as shown by this trailer of Rayman Legends, along with a few images.

After being officially announced on Wii U, 360 and Playstation 3, Rayman Legends won't forget Sony's handheld. The Vita version will include 5 exclusives maps in which the player will control Murphy via the touchpad of the console. Local Wi-FI Multiplayer will be possible for two players and two skins have also been created for this version of the game. Fans will be able to play Rayman dressed as the Prince of Persia while Globox will try to steal a bit of Sam Fisher's thunder. The game will be available on August 29 in Europe, which means North America should expect it around August 27.

It's an ocean that Rayman Legends has brought today in this brand new video of Ubisoft's upcoming platformer. As usual, you can expect some very irrational ideas on Rayman's part.

Ubisoft released a video walkthrough of Mariachi Madness, one of the crazy levels included in Rayman Legends. A small taste of Mexico just in time for Obama's visit to Enrique Pena Nieto, but it's very unlikely Michel Ancel's game will deal with such themes as illegal immigration and drug cartels. But after all, who knows?

A Rayman Legends demo is available today on the Nintendo eShop for European consumers who want to have a try at the game.

Originally planned for the launch of the WiiU. Rayman Legends is not going to be released on the Nintendo console until the beginning of 2013. For consolation, here's a new trailer and images showing us a little more of the Rayman Legends' universe.
