Need for Speed: Shift

Need for Speed: Shift was released last Thursday everywhere in the world and today we can finally show you some direct feed footage. As the first 10 minutes of the game may not be really interesting to watch, we have decided to show you different races with different cars so you can get an idea of the game's content. We'll start with a ride behind the wheel of the Lotus Elise on the Nürburgring track.

Need for Speed: Shift has just been released in North America and will hit the European shelves by the end of the week. We will of course capture some direct feed of the game as soon as possible but to ease the pain of the wait, here are two new trailers presenting two famous tracks.

We're trying to catch up with Need for Speed: Shift's promotional videos and it's not always easy. Today, we're giving you no less than 5 different trailers presenting either tracks, cars or a new game mode and there's even an interview of Jesse Abney in the bunch. The hype machine is definitely on with EA as we get closer to the release date.

Need for Speed: Shift is out in two weeks. Tremors. To help the wait, EA put us litterally under the skin of a pilot with this ad we'll see on TV soon, nervous mix of gameplay and CGI. Short, efficient, we like.

Electronic Arts releases yet another out of the ordinary video of Need for Speed: Shift with this time a very detailed presentation of the famous track Road America.

Our friends Driftwood and Bombstrike recorded these 4 videos of Need for Speed: Shift right before we went back to France, allowing me to get them through our lengthy HQ 720p encoding process. Enjoy!

Need for Speed: Shift is back with this video from the 360 build showing a part of the Nürburgring.

It's now Need for Speed: Shift's turn to get a pretty nice video from the Gamescom's Showfloor.

During EA's conference, we got to see a live demo of the PC version of Need for Speed: Shift and it was pretty impressive to be thrown into the cockpit of a Zonda for a few minutes. EA also showed a new trailer of the game that you can now see inside. The gameplay video we shot and those we'll make on the showfloor will be available tomorrow at best, given the difficult upload conditions we're having at the hotel at the moment.
