Wipeout HD

I guess many of you already know that Wipeout HD is getting some exclusive new content in the near future. The DLC will add 8 new tracks, 13 new ship models and 3 new game modes, 2 of which will be playable online. No release date yet but with Wipe Out, I guess it's no surprise. Images inside.

Our friend TTP sent us these 10 videos of the impressive looking Wipeout HD. The game will be available on the PSN on Thursday!
As usual these videos (except the stream) run at 60 images per second and require a very powerful computer to be perfectly smooth.

And lastly, Sony released this trailer of the PSN title Wipeout HD.

After a quite sunny Gamersyde Diaries for The Bourne Conspiracy, let's go back to the moodier streets of Paris and discuss no less than three games this week - Lego Indiana Jones, Wipeout HD and the excellent GTA Race mode of Grand Theft Auto IV. Enjoy !

TTP is still on a quest to prove once and for all the Wipeout HD is a very beautiful game with these two new videos. And guess what? It worked. This is indeed a very beautiful game :)

It's been some time since TTP sent us any new video, but as usual when he gets something, it's awesome! 3 HD 60 fps videos from the preview build of Wipeout HD, and more to come. Yes, this guy is great!
It's also important to note that the slight slowdowns and tearing you'll see in these videos will be fixed (according to Sony) in the final build of the game.

Sony releases eight new screenshots of Wipeout HD, first instalment of the famous futuristic race series to see the light on a new generation console. The game will be available soon for download on the Playstation Network of the PS3.

The futuristic racing videogame Wipeout HD, an exclusivity of the Playstation Network (PSN) from the Playstation 3 now has these new images. It offers 60fps and 1080p output. This downloadable title remakes some tracks from previous titles in the series rather than create some and adds high definition plus online functionnalities to the whole package. Its launch date is scheduled sometime in 2008.
