Every time they keep showing off all these awesome PS3 games i just feel sorry for my 360, i'm gonna have to sell it to afford all the awesome Sony exclusives coming out!

after trying Pure...or was it pulse, the latest one for the psp at any rate, all my hopes for this kind of went down the drain. My hype is officially zero for wipeout.

Pure and Pulse are the best Wipeouts since 2097, everyone but you seems in agreement of that. Shame you didn't like it.

Doesn't seem special graphicswise. Seems like the native 1080P takes it's toll, so details are lacking somewhat. But then again, Wipeout has always been about the gameplay.

Pure was really good, but I heard Pulse was disappointing.

I'm pretty hyped for this one. Looks amazing graphically. Really in the top 15 best looking games on all platforms easily...

huh? pure/pulse where a return to form for wipeout, if you dont like them you really cant be much of a fan!

Korn: I love 2097 but after that i just haven't found the games very entertaining. I don't know...maybe the only reason i like 2097 at all is nostalgia.

maybe thats it then. i know of series that have the same effect on me. mario kart for the SNES for instance. great game, but every game after that just felt like its paled in comparrison (when in reality it hasnt). mario 64/DS are reveared by a lot of people, snes MK fans alike, but me, i just didnt like them. i guess the only reason i like the snes version is for nostalgia.

One of the best franchises on the PSP, and the second best racing franchise on the PSP after Riiiiidge Racer :) I'm holding out for the hope of a true sequel though. I don't particularly care for this PSN stuff.

wipEout pure was brilliant! It was certainly a return to form for the series.
If this continues the trend then we're in for a treat.
