lets face it, ubisoft games take so many elements from each other the lines start to blur. obviously you'll have exceptions like children of light (hardly AAA) rayman legends (hardly AAA) trackmania (hardly AAA) grow home (hardly AAA) valient hearts (hardly AAA) but most of ubisofts big budget output the last...what? 10-15 years has been open world tedious side mission filled collectathons. AC1/2/3/4/5/6/7 (whatever we're up to now) far cry 2/3/4/primal/blood dragon, the division, watchdogs 1/2, ghost recon wildlands, and to some extent steep and the crew.
no, they don't all have towers to climb. but they all suffer the same fundamental problems. and they're released at an alarming rate and need 1000 man teams to make...and for what? evesdropping missions x50. pickpocket missions x100. finding random shit in the world x1000. and that's the bigger issue. they have this open world obsession. a contrived template they religiously stick to, and they release them every year, sometimes multiples in a single year. it wears thin.
Siege while is better than most modern shooters pales in comparison to the Rainbow games from 2000 to 2006
Splinter Cell games used to be incredible, Choas Theory up against the newer titles compared to Blacklist or Conviction, The newer titles do not compare!
The early AC titles were a breath of fresh air but were playing the same game now for what the 10th time? Im bored to tears of them.
For Honor finally Ubi have tried something different and it's thurned out to be thier best game in a long long time as i said.
The others claiming Ubi makes great games from 2013 onwards compared to the older games is baffling. Unless your obsessed with collecting stuff and climbing towers the newer games are poor when it comes to the most important part which is gameplay. Also Ubi like to hold the hand way to much in newer titles and light up your screen like a christmas tree with awful looking huds. For Honor though looks like it's been made with a more Hardcore crowd as the focus and while the Hud is still a bit much it's an improvement.
Breaking 100k concurrent players. Those are bigger than BF1 launch numbers.
Barely 5% own a PRO compared to the amount who own a regular PS4, so who is this for? Or do you really think everybody who comes to this site is a PRO owner?
