I like Gears visual, but I have seen it TOO MANY TIMES, starting to make me sick soon, unless it's not gonna be in grey/black/brown again, which I doubt.

I would say in a personal level, Fable 2 might take home the prize for the best artistic and colorful visuals.

But it's just the beginning of 2008, there is a looooong way to go before the end of it.

Fable 2 is definitely beautiful I'm really excited to get my hands on it and start exploring the world.

Seeing that house I instantly thought that there simply couldn't be a better spot for a house. It just looks beautiful and if I remember the game will have weather and different seasons which is pretty damn cool :)

Op, we definitely should co-op on Too Human AND Fable 2, what do you say? ;)

However, some people say that there is no online co-op for Fable 2 yet, or Peter isn't talking about it.
Some say the GDC presentation was a LAN thing.

I hope there is online co-op!

Offline Co-Op makes this game an instant buy for me and my husband. After playing Diablo 2, Baldur's Gate II and Never Winter Nights, we've been looking for an RPG we can play together once more.

Just joking of course, but the co-op in Fable 2 is gonna be very fun.

I actually think that there might be a 2 player co-op on the same machine because there is no splitscreen, and one person can't just run off to another section, both characters have to wander off together.

I am just hoping for online co-op, would be great.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the co-op they were showing was two players on the same machine.

Pete was bigging up the camera system quite a lot.

I wasn't paying attention to that game at all. Didn't play Fable and never wanted to play the sequel. But now after the presentation I'm like super hyped for it. I could buy and enjoy any game with coop I believe.

im not sure if it was on the same machine. the guy helping him in his game WAS in the same room...but how did he have his own profile in molyneux's game? you cant do that on the same system. yet his co-op buddy had a rep level, and his gamerscore? which says to me it was online....but then if it was online why restrict the camera so much and make it like lego star wars? i understand why it would be like that in a same-system co-op, but online? seems like an odd choice to me.

so i think online co-op is a given, but it'll keep this restricted camera/movement seen in the vids. and it MAY have same-syste co-op, only 1 guy would have to be a guest i supose since you cant sign in 2 live profiles on a single machine at the same time.

Fable 2 is gonna be the shit. Online co-op is a fantastic addition. It's going to add a lot of depth to the experience.I'm more interested in trying to get someone else's wife pregnant :P

There should be an achievement for that.Why can't you do that on the same system? You can have two profiles on the same 360.. I do it (did it) with Halo and Gears all the damn time. If your profile was present on the same memory device (or a memory card), why wouldn't that work (assuming there is local co-op)?

In game, you can certainly have two live (gold) profiles logged in at the same time.

There are perhaps memory requirements to think about. I mean I suppose they have to limit the distance at which someone can travel from their co-op partner due to maybe the level of detail they are going for with the game.

Do you guys think we can customize our characters faces, or are there like determined different faces, like how KOTOR did it.

I do hope that we can atleast customize some parts of the faces, if not all of it :D

Would be quite cool to see what type of character people have once in co-op (if they do add online co-op).

One reason why I think it will be a various of determined faces is because the "menu" it shows your character as an 3D art, not in-game engine model.

Ah well, I hope Peter starts to give more info about it.

Did you play Fable? Your characters appearance is sorta random, based on your choices in game (clothing, combat, morality, everything). You can also find / collect hair styles, facial hair, and tats. Everyone starts out looking very simular, and winds up looking pretty unique. I assume this will be simular.

Yeah I played it, loved it.
But I don't think you will start out as a child this time...or has it been confirmed?
The story is a bit in the dark, but we know it takes a few years after the first one.

I am not talking about hair in general, I am talking about the face structure.
Sure if you lean torwards evil you get more of a evil face, and good for a more heroic face.

But I think there will be some sort of a customization for the charcater in the very beginning, but we will see.

I'm pretty sure we won't see any major facial customisation (apart from what's described above).
A shame because I would have liked it as well, but I think it would have been a bit too much for LH. I mean the game has to deal with age, good/evil and rich/poor morphing.

As for the story, well it starts 500 hundred years after Fable....

The computer will look after the camera, it'll pan out the further apart the players are and wotnot.

I'm really glad that pub games are making a return, and that they are doing something new with said games being available on XBLA.
I'm 50/50 about them releasing the game on Live Arcade before the actual release of Fable2.
I mean if you play the arcade game and win a lot of money, surely when you get Fable, you'll just go out and get the best gear.
But I suppose it's up to you if you want to play it that way. No ones forcing you to buy the game.
