Good reviews! I have to say it's nice to see the PC version in the lead.. and it's nice to see a more traditional PC RPG being so well received on consoles too!

Looking at the recommened specs (page one, thanks) my laptop should run this no sweat so I may indulge myself.

Man this game might oust Batman for GOTY, cant wait to dive in and get lost in the world, pre-order my 360 version from Game and due to the post strikes might get it tomorrow or thurdays :D

I'm quite surprised Eurogamer gave the game an 8/10 - I felt for sure it was heading for a 9. The funny thing is that if you read the review itself, the guy makes it sound as if the game is closer to a 6 or 7/10.

Judging by some of the reviews released thus far, it sounds as though the 360 version is not up to par with the others. That's a bit of a concern for me personally, and it'll probably mean that I wait until the price drops for this and spend my money on something else.

I think like most Bioware games the technical side of things have let it down with most reviewers (PC inc), but the quality of the game overall yet again shines through.

On a side note apparantly the game has been optimized for a 360 HDD install which runs much better.

I'm torn on which version to get. Gamespot gave the PS3 version a slightly higher score for having slightly higher quality textures but they also said the PS3 had much more framerate problems than the 360 version.

The extra texture quality would be nice, but I'm thinking the 360's better framerate would be even more important. So hard to decide... damn!

I just saw my friend playing the first hour of the game. His origin was noble dwarf warrior. He used low to medium graphics settings, but even then production values are high above NWN2 which I'm currently playing. Well done, Bioware. I'll buy the game in the Spring.
