Good reviews! I have to say it's nice to see the PC version in the lead.. and it's nice to see a more traditional PC RPG being so well received on consoles too!

nice to see the PS3 version of a multiplat getting some extra love for a change. might actually rent that version now rather then the 360 version.

Man this game might oust Batman for GOTY, cant wait to dive in and get lost in the world, pre-order my 360 version from Game and due to the post strikes might get it tomorrow or thurdays :D

I'm quite surprised Eurogamer gave the game an 8/10 - I felt for sure it was heading for a 9. The funny thing is that if you read the review itself, the guy makes it sound as if the game is closer to a 6 or 7/10.

Judging by some of the reviews released thus far, it sounds as though the 360 version is not up to par with the others. That's a bit of a concern for me personally, and it'll probably mean that I wait until the price drops for this and spend my money on something else.

Just a quick note for the people who will be buying the XBOX 360 version of Dragon Age: Origins. Since the XBOX 360 has the option to dump the game’s data onto the hard drive, I highly suggest to do it on Dragon Age: Origins. Doing so will eliminate the annoying loading issue in between scenes (just a 3-5 seconds) and mostly the random stuttering of the graphics.

Dragon Age: Origins is a phenomenal game but we want everyone to have a great time with it! It’s good! We are still unsure if the PlayStation 3 version has any sort of installation. Once we find out, we will update this post.

why in gods name would you optimize a game to run better using a feature not every user will have? (HDD) have bioware gone stupid or something?

I'm torn on which version to get. Gamespot gave the PS3 version a slightly higher score for having slightly higher quality textures but they also said the PS3 had much more framerate problems than the 360 version.

The extra texture quality would be nice, but I'm thinking the 360's better framerate would be even more important. So hard to decide... damn!

I just saw my friend playing the first hour of the game. His origin was noble dwarf warrior. He used low to medium graphics settings, but even then production values are high above NWN2 which I'm currently playing. Well done, Bioware. I'll buy the game in the Spring.

Other regions will receive Dragon Age: Origins on November 6th.
Fuck Steam. What the fuck is this shit. So Portugal isn't on mainland Europe? We are just right next to Spain. FFS.

Ah well, just one more day to wait but this is just: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
