SEGA has confirmed today that Yakuza 0 will launch in Europe besides North America in early 2017 both digitally and at retail. The publisher is targeting a simultaneous release for both territories. New trailer inside.
Early 2017? Wow, by that time Yakuza 6 should have been released in Asia already, and this is a mid-2015 game, not to mention Yakuza: Kiwami that has come out in February. SEGA just put too little resource on localization in the west.
However a late release doesn't make it a bad game, it's fantastic, maybe the best in the entire franchise so far.

Commented on 2016-03-26 21:07:44I just bought the Asian (Chinese) versions of Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Zero, and purchased Yakuza 5 on PSN in English...and will get this too!
Awesome series, awesome characters, fun gameplay, and seemingly endless content.
