loved the first game to bits, but this needs split-screen co-op or no sale.

Wow looks way better than last trailers/screens from E3 09. :O

This game will have online co-op. No news about split-screen co-op so far...

What's with the quality of the screen shots? They look like they come from analogue video tape or something.

Not sure how this one is going to turn out. I really wish Capcom Japan had been developing it.

I'm actually a bit interested in this. Didn't fancy the idea of placing the next game in Vegas. But it would seem like a natural choice given the context of the whole consumerism message from the mall in Dawn of the Dead. Not like Dead Rising had much of a message, but it's nice that they stay on topic at least.

I loved the first one, one of my first games for the 360. Too bad you couldn't find much time to explore the world because of the game design. Anyway, co-op sounds awesome. Can't wait to see the latest build in action.

apparently the 360 version will have something extra that links dead rising 1 to dead rising 2...

This is looking great! The mcguyver create your own weapon stuff looks like hours of fun filled blood-soaked action! I kinda miss dumpy Frank West tho...

Very amatuerish trailer. Looks like it was edited by a untalented college student. Piss poor cutting. That said, it at least it was gameplay footage and it looks more of the same carnage that made the first game a blast to play. From the footage there, or is it just me, but have the rag doll physics been taken out? That's if it had rag doll in the first place. Will be disappointing if it doesn't, but this being a Jap dev, I'm not holding my breath on any kind of proper physics.

The first one didn't have rag dolls. It would be sweet if this one did....

I loved the first one, best game on 360 if you ask me. But I didn't love it because you could kill zombies in multiple ways, I loved it because the zombie killing wasn't the central part of it. They were just obstacles preventing you to reach a more important destination.

Vary rarely did I have time to kill zombies for the pleasure of having fun. My mission to get to the truth, and saving my fellow humans, were far more important.

And I'm afraid Blue Castle might screw that up. I don't know if there's still a time limit, but I figure that the old save system is gone. The same save system that had you take responsibility for your actions.

What I fear most though, is that zombie killing now will be a big part in the mission design. That you have to kill zombies in order to progress. A more direct approach than before.

I'm very skeptical, they might get the first game. And if they don't listen to much to all the naysayers I guess this could be good ride. Being western developers behind the sequel to a very Japanese game I don't want to get my hopes up though.

I hope they have changed the mission structure in the sequel, i really wanted to like the first one but the stupid time limit and the fucking escort missions just ruined it for me, instead of a zombie slaugter fest it was just a race against time from point a to b hamperd by awful ai.
I want this to be good, if they just skip the time limit it will be a lot more fun, the first game just felt like a stressed out chore.
