Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

After two episodes which were rather flawed, despite some improvement in the sequel, the official game of the world rally championship is back with WRC 3. Until we can see the game in action, here are a bunch of new images.

Man, that ice on the road looks like the real thing... As for the rest ? Polycount and reflections could be done better. What's wrong with the shadows in the last pic ?

Some parts look amazing, some look a little lackluster. Overall though, the graphics are plenty good enough as long as they nail the physics. They really need to get some good car damage modeling and environmental deformation systems in place to nail the feel though.

Would definitely love a good rally only title to offset the weirdness that has become the DIRT series. Definitely keeping an eye on this...

My exact thoughts on it. Hopefully this will be the all Rally game I've been waiting years for.

I remember the golden racing game days :(

During the PS1 > Xbox/PS2 era we got so much quality in the racing genre it's just sad to see all that just go. Gran Turismo (back when it was the shit!!!--in a good way), Need for Speed High Stakes, Rallisport, the birth of Forza, 24 Le Mans, Ferrari 355.......and I'm going to stop right there because I will get sentimental :P

Rather suspicious that the backgrounds are blurred out in most of the shots. They've either got something to hide, or whoever took the shots is just clueless.

It's certainly no dirt3 in the looks department, but it can't possibly be any worse then that POS game.

They where still better rally games then the competition tho. It's no richards burns or even the old PS2 WRC games, granted, but it's better then dirt...lol

lol no. Racing games this gen has been better than ever. More realism, better gfx. But there are just too many of them that is the problem and only 2-3 are good.
