Trailer PC PS4 Xbox One Xbox 360 PS3

Maybe to make up for yesterday's weird video, Ubisoft has released a new (accolades) trailer of Watch_Dogs which shows nothing new unfortunately. At least it recalls you how the game really looks.

After that god-awful looking "Aisha" trailer, they hurried up and released a more polished trailer. Well played Ubisoft! lol

YAY DAMAGE CONTROL!!!

They need to start saying what versions shown in game vids now..especially as cross-gens gonna be the norm for the next year. Its false advertising really otherwise. I'm pretty sure its the law now that they have to do it for national adverts (uk) when somethings actual gameplay or not. They should do it for versions of games too

Yay! A "pretty" trailer.

Now all the entitled bitching graphics whores can move their net-mob to something else and complain about that. :)

Yey for a trailer cut entirely from shit we've already seen. *Sigh* I'm getting seriously worried about this game. I feel like they had a cool premise when it was revealed, but never really expected to have to make an entire game based around it and are now struggling to flesh it out. I'm not entirely convinced. I do hope they show some narrative focused demo's at gamescom though, no more ambient side mission crap. Seriously, it's the one part of open world games no-one gives a shit about and thats ALL they've shown. Visuals still doing nothing for me either. There where impressive moments within that trailer, but i realised i was watching scenes cut from the CGI from a good few months back. I dunno. I want it to be good, but i don't think it will be.

@KornDog - I never knew what was the big deal about this game in the first place? Don't get me wrong, I'm getting it for the PS4, but mostly due to lack of launch titles. lol

I imagine it's going to be one of the these decent launch games that'll be forgotten about pretty quickly.

I can't help but imagine the developers are spread pretty thin with all the platforms they are covering.

It's Ubisoft. They can pump out below average games on 20 platforms no problem.

And therein lies the problem. Too many games at launch will be half-arsed, or at least half-baked between next gen and current gen. They'll all mostly look very similar because they are concentrating on so many platforms at once. Assassins Creed can be counted in that too. It still looks very good compared to current gen, but it's still not pulling any trees up in the visual sense because it's not been built from the ground up specifically for next generation. I don't think that has ever happened in a generation transition before. Usually launch games for the new consoles were built entirely for them and them alone. Or am I wrong?

There was definitely tons of upwards and downwards porting going on when the 360 launched too. Maybe a little less.. but this is probably the smallest leap forward in such a timescale too.

To my memory launch titles have always been like this. It's maybe just more prominent now with more bigger franchises.

This is why I'll be waiting a good 6—12 months before getting a new machine.

Forgotten ? With WatchDogs 2 already in the pipeline for 2014 and 3rd for 2015 ? Don't think so ? Place your bets then ! They'd never do a game they can't milk at least 3times in a row. It's become a habit among the big studios.

Haha went in full force to release a new trailer. Still not very interested, lets see when they actually show what the game will be like instead of these controlled segments.

As interested I am in the game, I agree, and hope they are just pulling a R* because they don't want to spoil anything...

Well I don't actually mean it will be forgotten, just in the context of next-gen; I imagine it'll be left in the dirt of the launch & the 2nd round of next-gen games will wake it up.

Watchdogs will still be a franchise though.

The fake Giant Bomb "Best of Show" quote is hilarious, since it's sourced to a user's blog there.

They are showing same crap over and over again so yes...it's really worrying. I'm afraid it's going to be just like the first AsCreed. Hopefully I'm wrong on this one...

This game really needs a new method of hype as all I see are people (myself included) getting really bored by this game's trailers. They new to focus more on the style from the games original debut.
