Sony has released the extended E3 gameplay demo of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Grab the HQ 15 minute-long video inside.
Update: The original file had some issues with a few players, so I've remuxed it to a more compatible version. No quality loss of course.

Now? Uncharted has always played like this... it's a prettier more open copy of when the tank was chasing after you in 2? I forget. But that's uncharted...you go in knowing what you're going to get.

It is not. And I'm happy, because ND never shows the best from their games. Thanks GSY for this HD beauty! Itś mind blowing how detailed this is. Setting bar for next gen, that's for sure!

I just cant get excited by this as with all the others.. ive had to force myself to play through the previous titles.. i think its more to do with the fact i find drake the most annoying mc ever... hes a twat. If i ever met someone like him in real life id have to punch him! Now if this was the next installment of TLoU id be all over it... great characters, incredible story... but this.. nah ill pass.

I find it really interesting, like I see people writing about how they've heard about all that hype around Uncharted games and they had to try it and even force them to play it through. Many fans then started to insult them, because they really didn't like something so popular. I think it's absolutely ok. Just because this game is hyped so much, it doesn't mean, that You HAVE TO like it. It's like with everything else. Me personally...I love the series and I must have it all. But when it comes to Batman for example (also hyped a lot), I just don't have fun, while playing it. It looks great, but it's not the type of game I enjoy.

Dem physics are insane! It's very scripted linear experience, which has many fans.
As i said before, would have been excited if they were announced TLoU 2 instead.

btw: there always has been something off with Uncharted gunplay. never have been fun shooting dudes in these games to me. In TLoU they got it perfectly right.

Uncharted has kind of always been like that it's never been known for it's amazing gameplay or amazing gun mechanics it's all about 2 things....Graphics and Story both of which very little games can get close! (Although the last of us beat it on every level bar humour)

It's never been known for its amazing gameplay? Says who? The gameplay unlike other games like Gears, is very dynamic and amazing. And now with UC4, the levels are much more open and even more spectacular than ever before.

If you think the only qualities Uncharted has are graphics and story, you're clearly under the influence of drugs.

Let it be known then that here you are trying to turn this into an Uncharted vs Tomb Raider thing and I am not going there but I will answer your open world thing. I DONT care if my action adventure game is open world - never did. I want a solid game that I can actually PLAY. Open world is the curse of action adventure games. RPGs need to be open world but NOT this type of games.

who said anything about open worlds? i said there was more freedom. freedom comes in more forms then just a vast area of space. watch the PSX demo...that's freedom. it's not GTA "i'm going to swim out to see and be eaten my sharks" freedom. but it's freedom. it's sandboxy. that has never been the curse of action adventure games...hell...it was the reason the orignal tomb raiders were great.
