Atari and Simbin continue to reveal the tracks in Race Pro, out today is Laguna Seca. The game is planned to be released next month on Xbox 360.
Atari fact sheet:
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was built in 1957 and is located in Monterey, California, USA. The first race was held in November of the same year. The track is 3.602km long and features a mix of fast straights and technical corners that can be considered among motorsports’ most demanding. Race fans particularly enjoy the unique setting in the oak-studded hills less than 10 miles from scenic Monterey Bay coupled with the track’s many challenges.
Some of the most difficult turns at Laguna Seca are the Andretti Hairpin (Turn 2), The Corkscrew (Turns 8 and 8A) and Rainey Curve (Turn 9). Turn 2, with its difficult and technical double-apex, has been renamed the Andretti Hairpin, in honour of former Formula 1 World Champion Mario Andretti. The famous Turn 8 and 8A combination, popularly referred to as the Corkscrew, is considered one of the motorsport world's most challenging turns due to the 91 m drop in elevation as well as its blind crest and apex on the uphill approach. Turn 9 has been renamed Rainey Curve in honour of 500cc Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Champion, Wayne Rainey, a resident of nearby Salinas, California. The straight that runs between Turn 6 and Turn 7 has also been renamed the Rahal Straight after four-time consecutive Champ Car race winner Bobby Rahal.

Posted by broman I must've raced this track a million times. I wish racing games would start putting in some lesser used tracks
gotta agree, I've raced laguna seca a million times by now, it's always the same. We've had enough good versions of it that I'm not impressed by how well your game does it, i'm just thinking oh god, yet another game where I spend the last three laps praying I don't blow that last left/right or get punted by the guy behind me on the same turn that it's happened for the last 5 racing games i played.
This game will be perfect. DBR9 got so freakin awsome sound of engine. But x360 joypad not the best controller for racing games, and thats the greatest problem of this game. And I hope it the only.
I am pretty sick of Laguna Seca myself. I wish that for every boring real track, they'd put an interesting fake one. That's one thing I miss about old school gaming...

Graphics do their job quite well considering the amount of complexity involved.
