Developer Diary PC Xbox 360 PS3

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has already its first developer diary, dealing with the beginning of the development of the game plus an in-game cutscene. Still a year before its release.

it looks stunning. They claim it's the best looking RPG..and i have to agree. It's how i'd love fable to look..a more realistic, yet still fantasy, look about it.
Ofcourse looks are one thing, performance another..and by most accounts the first Witcher was abit all over the place. Hopefully this coming to console will offer something abit more steady and consistant in performance..regardless of whatever slight downgrades in visuals compared to high-end PC's. They seem to have faith that they've developed the engine flexable enough.

One concern is that they talk of this being a continued story from the first. Hopefully any conclusions from the first will be clearly spelt out in this, or better yet, they'll get the console version of the Witcher picked up again and release it beforehand..or a doublepack.

Cutscene was pretty good, didn't like the control set up on the first game.

Dear god, that looks incredible.

It makes Dragon Age's cutscenes look like wooden dolls being poked by sticks. Not to say I don't love DA, but... damn.

A bit bummed it's so far away, but hopefully that's enough time for them to make something glorious.

It really does make DA look like a last gen game. Loved the first game and I'm glad it's coming to consoles. My PC would never be able to run this.

That's a pity, because as good as it looks, I don't think the requirements for this would be too far beyond the average PC gamer's rig. If you could run Bad Company 2 on high, you could probably run this at a decent resolution and framerate.

As the current gen consoles get older, it's increasingly becoming a good time to be a PC gamer, which makes me happy. The only game on the horizon I want that isn't available for PC is Red Dead Redemption, but who knows, it might just make its way to PC as well.

This is like damn good sex !
amazing looking game ! Hope the console versions have an more action approach to the fighting system. More like GOW or Conan. With bottoms mashing and combos..that would be great !

I have to admit it does look pretty damn good for an rpg cutscene. I've never expected to see something this good made in that country of mine. Hopefully the whole game will be as good as this cutscene.
