Could be much more interesting if there are some kind of puzzles involving possessing and actually using these objects.
Looks rather boring to be honest.
Hide from enemies, pass through small openings etc
Maybe you could, I don't know, possess a sheet of paper, tear it with a paper shredder, then possess a tiny shred and make it fit in a tiny hole between walls, for example.
That would be more like a point-and-click adventure than an FPS maybe, but would also be much more satisfying to play.
Prey 2, this is not.
