The Last of Us Part II is coming

The suspense surrounding the release date of The Last of Us Part II was finally lifted a few days ago since we now know that the game should ship on June 19, forcing Ghost of Tsuhima to wait until July 17 to step into the world. The recent delays are of course due to the situation imposed by Covid-19 but the good news is that the pandemic will not ruin the summer of PS4 owners eagerly waiting on those 2 major exclusives. Today, Naughty Dog and Sony have just released a brand new trailer for TLOU Part II and we're very happy to share it with you. Remember that the Internet is not such a safe place for the fans of the franchise since the recent leaks, so be careful where you surf.
Note: We're doing our best to get our hands on a high quality version of the trailer, but until then, the YouTube version will have to do...

Well  this looks intense. The facial expressions on Ellie are incredible. Very interesting watching the trailer knowning the spoilers.

Who knows, but we certainly hope we will. With a bit of luck, Naughty Dog will remember the time when they gave their Uncharted 4 E3 trailer the name of our website.

Seriously though Naughty Dog somehow stepped up their game again over Uncharted 4. Especially at the 2:00 Ellie's expression looks unbelievable with all the nuanced muscles, skin deformation, and eye movement on her face. The whole game actually looks graphically upgraded compared to previous trailers too.

Is it just me or did they change Ellie's face a bit such that she looks younger now compared to earlier videos they've shown off? She looks a bit softer/younger in this one, like she still has more of her baby fat, or is younger than in earlier videos, though maybe I'm just seeing things?

This makes the first game look light hearted. Very impressive animation and cutscene direction.
