Gallian Chronicles, aka Valkyrie of the Battlefield or even Valkyria Chronicles, has been released today in Japan, and as usual now our good friend DjMizuhara recorded a video of the beginning of the game, with of course more to come tomorrow. Let's all thank him for his goo job!

tnks dj, another great upload blim, this game looks great.
the map view transition is kick ass.
gameplay mechanics look good as well.
that guy was getting some serious head shots and still surviving.

No reason to import; it is coming out to America this fall so not too bad of a wait. Anyway, looks like an interesting take on the SJRPG genre. If the story is good, I may buy it.

Reminds me of Gears of War, except it's not grey and brown, and the story sounds interesting. Can't wait.

It's probably a joke, considering the fact that just about every game released now-a-these days get inevitably compared to GoW, GTA, or FF. Throw in some frothing fanatics and the results aren't pretty.

Actually, because it's a third-person action with a shoot and cover system. I can see the similarities to GoW.

LOL seriously you are reaching there... or just trying to wind people up.

I love the art style and use of cel shading in this game, but holy crap the gameplay looks boring as hell.

I'm all for turn based but this just looks slow and boring, I would soon get tedious of the whole "Enemy Phase" SRPG crap.
