Over The Moon revealed that story-driven scifi game The Fall Part 2: Unbound will also release on Nintendo Switch in 2017 on top of PC, PS4 and Xbox One. New trailer inside.
Ever since Part 1 was released and it got many praises, including here on Gamersyde, I've been awaiting for it to be complete. Unfortunately, it seems this will take a really long time to be complete - I won't play it otherwise - since Part 1 came out almost 3 years ago. And it's a shame, since almost all the hype surrounding Part 1 has disappeared.
This and Kentucky Route Zero - which I'm also waiting to be completely finished - are the worst examples of the episodic format, while it allows developers to get more funding from sales to enhance subsequent episodes, it also tends to make next episodes' development time really long if there's not a strict scheduling plan of release. And this ultimately kills so much enthusiasm for the episodes and game as a whole.
