@FireWire: Dude. You got zero sense of humour.
But with great reviews I'll rent the game to see what it's about.
This is one of those games I just don't get. People seem so excited but it just looks very "meh" to me. Too over the top and crazy in terms of design.

because its over the top crazy japaneseness thats becoming all too rare these days
Must be a Niche thing, my girlfriend is sooo in love with japanese anime, and I find most of it to be as poorly written as a MGS game (easy fanboys....). Guess I'm just too westernized lol.
Kotaku says PS3 version is fine....

I know ps3 is probably less familiar to developers as they cant do things in the same way they did before, but I think persevering with it and gaining the experience now will let developers have the option to use ps3 as the lead platform in the future and get the extra things it can offer.
Haven seen it looking as good as the easy automatic demonstration that platinum did, which concerns me a little. Really what is the problem with getting the ps3 to perform well when it basically the equivalent of the 360 probably a little better actually?? I dont know the technical issue of doing this but maybe a slightly different approach to getting the most out of ps3 as it is internally different to the 360.

Furthermore, Sega isn't stupid. Releasing the PS3 version of the game in a shitty state is not a smart thing to do (especially since that version of the game will sell the most in Japan) and Sega would have delayed the game if they couldn't get it into tip top shape.
My guess is that the "Falling Clock Tower" sequence was accidentally shown to early on the PS3, leading to fears about the game. However, such issues would make the game unplayable which would be bad for Sega. They WANT to sell the game in Japan (360 exclusive titles are pushing at most 200,000 lifetime, and that is for ESTABLISHED franchises; this means they need the PS3 version to sell). So Sega would obviously put every resource they have towards fixing the problems and make sure the PS3 version works.
