Looks very nice, but I'm not sure about the game itself. It seems to be just a sandbox game and not a platformer the previous games were.
Visuals are sweet, no complains there. But why they named this Banjo Kazooie is beyond me. It does not seem to share anything with the N64 classics except colorful art.
way too much emphesis on the vehicles imo, i miss the platforming action tbh.

The two main characters - check!
The game's other main characters - check!
Collecting musical notes to open new doors to other areas - check!
Collecting jigsaw pieces to open new levels - check!
Banjo's opening hub level where his house and Grunties layer is - check!
Nostalgic revamped music from the original - check!
Wacky level and character design and gibberish speak - check!
Yeah, you're absolutely spot on. It's got nothing in common at all, does it?
And $40 with the original free is very hard to argue with.
These look like actual buffer grabs too, which makes the game look even better!
Sometimes these PR folk make weird calls, for instance Screenshot 5 looks like its from the xbox version of Conker, whilst screenshot 13 makes the game look great. Why release screen 5? WHY!!?

And there is still Platforming action in there, as is shown in the sevaral trailers out there. They just added something extra, and from what it looks it is going to be a HUGE game.
And for this price.... plus the original free of charge, I hardly think you can complain. By his noodly appendages! they even added stop and swop in Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts together with the Original that is released on XBLA!
I bet had this game been exactly as the original people would've been complaining about it. Saying, "It outdated," or "This game is exactly the same as the original." Damn, do people need to be guided through every step of their life. No wonder companies decide what 's best for people.
If you want the old school platforming then you should've bought those games before companies decided the genre didn't produce a high enough return.
people keep complaining about platforming. This game has platforming, platforming with vehicles.

im pretty sure if this played like the better banjo of old, people wouldnt be complaining about anything. i buy platform games expecting a platformer shockingly enough, not fly around in a vehicle.
And for the buying platform games expecting a platformer... that's some twisted logic. Just because the games has a title involving BK doesn't mean that the gameplay has to be exactly the same as the previous games. By that logic, every spin-off should be deemed as a bad game.
We have known what the game is going to be about for quite a long time. Rare haven't been secretive about it. They don't sell it as a traditional platformer. Yes, it has platforming elements, but it's not a platformer, at least not in the traditional sense of the term. Still, there are many people who just keep complaining about something that was never there to being with.
I would love it if people stopped complaining about what the game is not and they started judging it for what it actually is. The fact that a game has vehicles doesn't make it immediately better or worse. It depends on the whole gameplay design. It it's broken, it will be an awful game, but if it actually works, it could end up being a great game given the flexibility of the vehicle editor.
Also, it's 40$, and guess what? You get the original Banjo Kazooie, in HD, the exact same game with traditional platforming like you're used to with Banjo Kazooie for FREE!! I know that this probably isn't news for you, but think about it again. You get a new fresh Banjo Kazooie game with new fresh ideas (and kick-ass visuals) and the original Banjo Kazooie (in HD) for those who want to be nostalgic or just doesn't wanna play Nuts & Bolts because of vehicle use for 40$. I hope I don't have to say that again 'cause I'm tired of it. Get the game and you'll have both a new and a classic Banjo Kazooie game on your Xbox 360 ready to play. I can't wait.
