She's been around longer than DOA. Do you even know who she is?

She first showed up in SFA3, which was in 1998. DoA first came out in 1996. Not that it really matters.

Or not since she actually looks like a fighter rather than what 90%+ of DOA female characters look like.

You should know well by now not to question Japanese female character design. This is standard fare.

And that tag line at the end "Rise up". Hmm, OK.

Didn't think I'd see this character again. She looks really buff though......

I wonder what Actor Mel Gibson has to say about R mika. (Discretion advised)

Something about boobs and a skimpy green provocative outfit. Yeah i don't think he'll be digging this very much. :p

I'm really glad boobs are such a big part of this industry and that will never change. Makes me happy. Well, I think the female characters in this game look good. I like that they are fit and strong looking. I don't like the male style, and really I much much prefer the old Capcom art style overall when it comes to characters. I hope to one day see that style come to 3D. I don't like the unsmooth clay textures look either. Overall it looks great though.

She is really big, I'll definitely say that. Who is that other character next to her? A cameo character for her special move maybe.

i love how obscure some of these returning characters are in this game. and how much the usual suspects have being changed up in both looks and style of play...it doesn't feel like your usual thrown together SF.

Roster wise, more then there should be. i think the last decently "unique" feeling SF was third strike. SF4 was a bit too safe imo.

I'd say IV an V (from what's been revealed) looks to have the two most safe lineups yet.

SFIV launched with 16 characters (excluding boss and hidden chars). 12 of these were the classic lineup from SF2:CE and 4 were completely new.

SFV will also launch with 16 characters. 4 was confirmed as being new (1 of these revealed thus far), leaving 12 characters as returning. 9 revealed so far: 6 from SF2 and 3 from Alpha (i count Birdie as Alpha character since he's not got much in common with the SF1 character)

SF2, SFA and SFIII all had less returning characters compared to IV and V, with III being the most daring (considering how big the series was by then) bringing only Ryu and Ken.

i'd argue the fighting style alterations make up for the fact characters are returning from old games. in SF4 the characters that returned played the same as you'd expect them to from the other games they've appeared in. in this even ken seems to play differently. and he certainly looks different too. seeing this game take more third strike-like risks like this is refreshing.

Just slightly related. I ordered a new stick today.

http://etokki.com/Omni-Sanwa-Edition

Steel-body, heavy and robust. Based on the classic Sega Virtua Stick High Grade design and uses the Namco Noir layout. Will be modifying it with Neutrik connectors and maybe different stick and buttons.

I've already got a few sticks but i just couldn't resist the clean design and build quality.
