Capcom just announced that a new character named Rashid would join the roster of Street Fighter V. Inside, you'll find a short video introducing this new fighter.

Looks a little uninspiring in design, could use more flare in the headdress and head area. Not all Arabs are textbook in white headdresses. i'm liking the way he moves though, very fast like the wind.

The Japanese voice even sounds a bit like El Fuerte, LOL.

My friend works at Capcom..

I heard that the empowered self-expressive female fighters make him so angry that he after he wins each fight he covers them up in Burka's.

And then makes them one of his wifes.

The red colored Keffiyeh (which is more commonly worn than than the white version in Middle East) is already used by Tekken's new arab character. Though the white colored Keffiyeh is generally more popular in the Gulf states.

They could have tried using Arab turbans but nowadays, it's more associated with Persians or Indians.
