These developers need to watch this: Graphics vs Aesthetics
And on the game, I think it looks a little bit to much like all the other games set in space that came out during this generation but at least you're not playing a generic marine this time so it has some originality stylewise. The gameplay looks interesting because it's not just flying around but also 2nd person shooting this time.
looks nice too for a sequel to what was a pretty ugly looking game.

Not only that, but they definitely overhauled the way the gameplay is like for your character, weapons...etc. looks like a modern designed shooter.
Character doesnt hop around when running, aiming is added, crosshair is like any other shooter, movement is like Red Faction, Gears...etc.
I love what they have done with it, and thank god they chose sci fi approach, those transforming mechs are awesome.
Unlike Warhawk, I will definitely know I will love this.
I just hope they add alot of unlockable bonuses other than outfits, head designs, colors...etc. I want new weapon models...etc.
This RTS thing that they said reminds me of Section 8.
Kill, get points, use the points to help your team out with spawning in turrets, shields, AA...etc. sounds interesting.
I hope it is released this year with a open beta.
Artstyle is much better, more serious, darktoned.
And I am surprised the single player is added this time around, and its a black dude, cool lol.
I wonder what is going on with his body though from the render, give him cool abilities!
Composer is Christopher Lennertz
Imagine these type of tracks for the game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KScTknwF4mM so epic!
I can see Darth Vader ordering a huge army to invade on a planet.
Also, it has an actual singleplayer this time...
They are gonna have to playtest the HELL out of the building element though, things like that tend to have a lot of exploits.
One team is humans the other team is mutans, Warhawk had a similair style.
As long as we can have deep character customization from face, facial hair, outfits, colors, all seperate I am good.
Warhawk let us customize headsets/gear with different faces, torso, pants, and colors and emblems on the clothes and such.
I've been waiting YEARS for this moment! Dreams come true! A f***ing Warhawk sequel! DAYMN!! Yes! Gimme dogfight gameplay vids! Hahaha!
Thank you Lightbox, I hope he does an amazing gran orchestra once again as Warhawk

From what I hear from the trailer, it has orchestra with sometimes a western touch, kind of like Firefly!
The more I see and hear the more hype I get, looks great.
Which would be super-outbalanced, super fast paced splitscreen online multiplayer on dedicated servers with the possibility to host a dedicated server of your very own with a PS3, and an overall have-it-your-way attitude with lots of modes and map layouts. Build & Battle looks frikin sweet, I predict that it will be the one thing that other 3PS developers will try to extract and tack on their games so it'll be at least half as awesome as Starhawk, but without all the sweet multiplayer madness from Warhawk, I don't want it.
Also, I won't be touching that campaign before reaching at least Brigade General equivalent ranking in multiplayer. No Warhawk fan will buy this for the singleplayer, which means it has to be truly exciting for us to care.
P.S. Give us shotguns. The one weapon that Warhawk lacks is a shotgun!
Invisible Walls impressions STARHAWK (18:00 - 24:50)
They planned on adding SP in Warhawk but decided to have MP only, atleast now they have a SP for the sake of it.
I will be playing SP for the sake of it but then its MP only.

it's a muliplayer game anyway, just like brink was and should always have been. as long as the game is technically and mechanically sound (brink isnt) then it'll make for a good MP game.
but still I liked Warhawk, it's a nice pick up and play shooter. I wish this were a PSN only title, I don't want to get up and change discs everytime I want to play the multiplayer
