Since Microsoft seems to have decided that Youtube was more than enough to show the next-generation graphics of their console, we are now weeks late for this video, and even then it's a badly encoded one at 25 fps. Still, there you have it, the Ryse combat vidoc many people asked for us to find and host...

Man this is a beautiful game, can't wait to play this and see this Cry-engine used more on consoles.

For anyone worried they just reconfirmed that the game is in fact 1080p native.

Probably the best looking launch title imo.

No idea what it's gonna play like tho. We've all heard the animation, combat complaints a million times, so I'll spare everyone my concerns, but I will say I think I'm finally seeing their "vision" for the combat a little better now.

No idea why they thought it was a good idea to release that awful multiplayer footage before releasing this. Very strange decision...Anyway, I'm not sold on the combat, but it does look much different than I expected. I always got kind of a "sim" vibe from this game, so I guess I figured the combat would be more slow and punishing, but it seems to be very arcady.

Sadly, I don't think any amount of videos will be able to take this game off my Gamefly list. Ryse just screams rental imo, especially with all of the concerns surrounding the combat. Can't wait to try it tho...

I wonder if there is something more fantastical introduced later on to spruce up the narrative and combat?. Surely you don't just fight barbarians and soldiers for 10 hours? Has anything been mentioned in regards to that? I think i heard magic was part of it, so it's not entirely grounded...

This is Crytek and they'll have you running through fields of mundanity if they believed it looked good, so don't be too surprised.

Visually it looks great. They've OD'd on the grass, it's flipping everywhere, I'm surprised he doesn't have a grass skirt.

When I saw this during the Halo 4 Championship, it looked nice, but the combat still looks horribly dated, so I think I'll be watching this instead of playing it.

The animations and framerate look like they still need a lot of work yet (although it did look better twards the end of the video)

A pretty game. And the perks look like they work similar to the nanosuit in crysis...where you're not investing points in them, so I doubt they'll be any RPG mechanics. I do hope they add abit of fantasy in there too..i'd love to play a Clash of the Titans game that looks like this

That's because it won't be near as good or as polished as a ND game. Kinda stands to reason it won't fair as well critically.

It is pretty impressive, but I think KZ SF looks more impressive, even from the MP footage.

Really ? without Kill Zone you Have nothing to talk about against Ryse which is not a better game in graphics or gameplay or anything my friend ... besides Ryse is Built by cry engine 3 the most powerful graphic engine in the world man ...

That hurt dude. So stupid it hurt. "Looks" like a ND game would suggest it has animations like a ND game i.e. animations that won't be matched by anyone 10 years into the future. And yet this game doesn't have animations that rival Jak 2 released 11 years ago. That is one reason why Crytek's game fail everytime since the first Far Cry. This game will simply not worth the asking price at launch.

Killzone does look really good but I personally don't think it looks more impressive than this.

Because graphics is not the only thing i care for, even if this game looks to be a tech demo more than anything for a console exclusive launch.
I am just interesting in seeing the brutal finishers like those gifs and thats about it.
Besides, its not like i havent seen Cryengine 3 in action before, better at that.

KZSF does look better.

But this is cryengine 3. It's quite optimized now as well.

But looks good for a multiplat engine that been refined over the years.
