Sega released these new images of Resonance of Fate/End Of Eternity, still looking a bit odd when it comes to the characters.

God I hope this gels for Tri-Ace, I think it looks awesome. Other japanese companies really struggle to marry their artstyle with western design philosophies in a successful way, and this is the first one I think really clicks in that regard. Characters look awesome and actually totally exist within the world as opposed to being jarring anime dudes in a super realistic environment.

The combat system sounds Tri-Acely intriguing aswell, and I just hope the rest comes together.

Agreed. I think this will turn out to be quite the sleeper hit. Eurogamer has preview the game and their thoughts are very very positive!

Really? i think it's going to get panned to hell when it's released. The gameplay footage of it looks aweful

Well, if it looks full of awe, then how can it be bad?

:o)

I think it shows a lot of promise. At least it doesn't look like you'll be fighting killer onions or retarded frog-men, which usually puts me off JRPGS...

I like the art style, the atmosphere... but I don't like the battle system much. Will need to see more about it, I guess~

It looks really bad designed. It may have a good story but the horrible style and the weird looking battle system will probably ruin the game. At least for me they will.
