This sort of reminds me as a throwback to that little fireworks tech demo game released on the PS2 to show off it's colourful sprite based particle capabilities. Only now it's voxels. Looks great.

It is. It's great, and the fact that it's free (is it really free out of the box?) is fantastic. As I said, a real throwback to the early PS2 days.

I was getting ps plus anyhow, I was just curious. Had no idea about the 1 month of free ps plus trial. Clever idea.

I always liked the old side scrolling shoot'em ups and I still do, but I also always disliked the Defender type of shoot'em ups.

Do jets and aeroplanes turn around 180° just like that ? Do they fly backwards too ? Didn't think so... (yea yea, Harrier + F35, but i think you get my point)

ehhhhh, Agni's philosophy was still some of the best real time footage i've seen from a 680gtx. real disappointed it didn't make the cut to be in the consoles. that alone gives plenty of reasons why lots of gamers also have PCs, that and also not worrying about backwards compatibility.

It's a known fact that Nvidia skimped on the compute power of the 680gtx. It is well beaten by an AMD 7870.

I did not know that, but Nvidia really dropped the ball in regards to compute in 680.

Yeah Pepe seen a few articles on it.

Devs seem very positive about the custom Compute units in PS4. Even crytek stated as much.

Don't get me wrong 680gtx is a powerful card. I just meant in that area.

But apparently Deep down's Fire simulations are using compute as well.
