LMAO, almost as cheesey as the opening to resident evil 1 on psone....haha

also. was that suposed to be THE chris redfield? if so there has been some serious steroid abuse between the "date" and the events in the game.

If We wouldn't know it's about RE5, then I would have thought it was a gears of War clone, judging by the gameplay at the end.

Where's the first trailer? It's called "Ceremony" and shows Chris getting awarded by the Police Department. And Chris's date cares about her looks instead of him. All through out the date she is putting lipstick. By the way good quality trailer Gamersyde!

maybe a bit off topic, but just played the demo and after playing Gears and Dead Space, these controls feel extremely dated and downward broken. You can pick up and play Gears or Dead Space immediately, but this game's controls feel so overly and unnecessary complicated. Unless they improve this, i think they will lose out on a lot of potential customers ... Looks great though.

I don't think they will lose a lot of customers (it's at the top of the list of pre-orders together with Killzone 2 ). But I do think it will dissappoint a lot of customers.

Agreed. Like most people who thought Resident Evil 4 was a great reboot for the RE series, I looked forward to RE5. Then gameplay videos started popping up, and deep somewhere in the back of my head, I said to myself: "Hmm. Wait a minute, this game could actually turn out to be slightly annoying with enemies coming from all sides". So anyways time passed and I played Gears and Dead Space and was like: "Holy shit. I love these games!" and I started casting doubt on the RE control scheme.

So eventually, after years of waiting, I got to play the demo. To my dismay, the controls did bother me more than I thought they would. What's worse, your AI partner ruins your tactics completely. Sure, hauling around on Ashley in RE4 was a pain in the ass, but at least she didn't take your ammo and Ada never got in your way. This new girl wastes ammo and actively seeks trouble, making co-op almost essential. And I really don't want to play this game co-op the first time.

Game looks amazing otherwise. But the controls make no sense in this day and age and Im 100% positive they won't change em'. Shame really, but Dead Space is the new benchmark for survival horror.

SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (3 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (5 Hours ago)
