also. was that suposed to be THE chris redfield? if so there has been some serious steroid abuse between the "date" and the events in the game.
maybe a bit off topic, but just played the demo and after playing Gears and Dead Space, these controls feel extremely dated and downward broken. You can pick up and play Gears or Dead Space immediately, but this game's controls feel so overly and unnecessary complicated. Unless they improve this, i think they will lose out on a lot of potential customers ... Looks great though.

So eventually, after years of waiting, I got to play the demo. To my dismay, the controls did bother me more than I thought they would. What's worse, your AI partner ruins your tactics completely. Sure, hauling around on Ashley in RE4 was a pain in the ass, but at least she didn't take your ammo and Ada never got in your way. This new girl wastes ammo and actively seeks trouble, making co-op almost essential. And I really don't want to play this game co-op the first time.
Game looks amazing otherwise. But the controls make no sense in this day and age and Im 100% positive they won't change em'. Shame really, but Dead Space is the new benchmark for survival horror.
