Here's the first video for Prey 2 following its announcement earlier this week. The live-action trailer takes place on a plane and... Click for more details. The title will be released in 2012 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
prey was the first game i ever played and completed on the 360. Was a pretty decent game..characters had care to them that valve would of been proud of.
Hopefully this will be just as good...and have the same awesome jukebox
Looking forward to see more of this for sure! Prey 1 was a good game back then. When I think about it I should buy it back and play it once again... shouldn't cost much now..

No hands and feet = No buy!!
This is not the 90s anymore!!
no its 2011 but who cares, it all about gameplay or do you care more about graphics !!!.
ive been waiting ages since completing the first game for this, i just hope the walking on wall's and ceilings returns especially in multiplayer, when prey first came out it felt fresh and added a new dimension to FPS multiplayer action not like the linear generic FPS games like cod ect, they only add new wepons and update the gameplay unless you dont like change "hands and feet" in cod just as there were in Quake back in the mid 90's prey added somthing new and refreshing.
In FPS games, there has to be hands when playing.
FPS is suppose to be immersive, and not showing the hands nor the feet (meh) if you look down or something, is just bad design.
Its not about graphics, so dont say its about graphics
The reason why they have to show the hands when carrying a weapon is to be more realistic, that its from the eyes of the character, and not some magical hovering weapon flying around.
The day of flying guns are over, now its suppose to be more immersive and give in those details and animations.

Yeah that's simply ridiculous. God L4D/2 is so awful because I can't see my feet!
It doesn't make the game bad, but having a "body" helps the immersion, which is very important to me. I'd argue that L4d would have been even more effective if they gave you more "presence" in the game. I do play games for the immersion though, as well as the "game". Video Games provide another world to be in- that's what I like. I can have fun playing games outside of the video variety, but Gaming provides an element of escapism that I really like...
