Today, we may be unable to propose a review of Mass Effect: Andromeda as the rest (thank you EA for that), but we have a little something which will hopefully make it up to you guys. Yooka-Laylee will finally be released on April 11, but we've been sent an early copy of the PC version and are allowed to show some gameplay footage recorded in the first part of the hub, the first world and the "basic" version of world 2 (each world exists in 2 versions, normal and extended). We should have a full review up on April 4, but until then, if you have questions, then ask away (as long as it doesn't concern things we can't discuss obviously). Enjoy the preview videos!
@MrWhite: yea, i think they did a really good job with that scene. At first i tried to remember the shots of her from the original to figure out if they re-used footage before the angles changed more. (1 Hour ago)
@Melmoth: Yeah, that's a good point. It's still noticeable, but it's literally so close that any kind of anomaly will be spotted and give that uncanny valley. The rendering though is flawless. (1 Hour ago)
as for Tarkin, i think they should have gone with the stand-in actor with some make-up/prosthetics. just looking at him in the making-of material he looks close enough. (1 Hour ago)
@MrWhite: she was kinda stiff/robotic in the original BR too. Like a doll, which they obviously aimed for, which helps sell the 2049 version. (1 Hour ago)
The other scenes that had all CG models of the actors and actress were so well done, I didn't realise it was entirely all rendered. Joi for example is almost completely CG overlaid with the actress. (2 Hours ago)
