Most of you probably already know of the problems and unprofessional behavior we encountered this year with our advertising agency when they failed to deliver a campaign worthy of E3. This left us in a difficult financial situation which we're currently trying to address by finding ways to continue delivering the content people demand in 2016 and beyond. Among them is the launching of a Patreon campaign – a participatory system which works almost like a monthly subscription service without the long term commitment of something like Kickstarter. For those that wish to help out, financial contributions are now possible, with some of the upper tiers even offering a bit of a bonus. We tried to find a set of bonus ideas that will help show our gratitude without penalizing those who are unable or choose not to participate in the Patreon. For anyone interested, it's easy - just to go this address and make a donation. Inside you'll find a bit more details on the Patreon system and the reasons we went for it in the first place.
Update: Our Patreon livestream is up (skip the first minute and 20 seconds).

EDIT:Just came a patreon!
I like the idea of merchandise for some of the rewards. Simple merchandise, I'd take a Gamersyde coffee mug.
Everything else I think you have covered on the Patreon page. However, just glancing over the page and not being familiar with Patreon, is it a one time payment or reoccurring payment month to month?
Pledge $40 or more per month - reads like a subscription.
I'd just like to be clear on it because I want to give you guys some money, but I can't commit to $40 every month.
Also, I think you should get a volunteer to stream everyday/every other day, i.e. that is his job. Not just to show new games or upcoming reviews, but to play any games -- anything helps. Half of those people who stream games with huge audiences don't have shit to say about anything and are as about as interesting as a stack of bricks. I think any sort of publicity for Gamersyde is good publicity and you should take advantage of it. The more people who are aware of the site, the more potential donations, longevity, etc, etc.
However, I do not like to explicitly pay.
will donate when i can, i've appreciated your guys' work for... gosh, feels like a decade now?

Thanks a lot for your support guys, we never really thought we could actually get so much money at launch. We know it most cettainly won't be as much every month, which is perfectly understandable of course, but to know that the launch of our Patreon is not a failure means a lot to us.
If we could find two different guys (one French speaking, one English speaking), willing to stream for free, it could make everyone happy. I'm not sure it'll be easy to find them though.
PS:The reward should be e personal diner under the Eifel with mothergoose
I usually tell people that this is the best site when it comes to video game trailers and screenshots, it's time to put some money where my mouth is.
Best of luck to you all, keep up the great work.
