If you are a SEGA fan, you have been longing for the great return of the fastest hedgehog in the history of video games for ages. Great news, time has come now with the release this week of Sonic Generations on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. First of all, the game looks great and colorful, very faithful to the series, whether in 2D or 3D. Then, even though the game only runs at 30 fps, the little blue mascot is faster than ever. True, there are a few slowdowns here and there, but it certainly does not ruin the experience. To prove our point, here are a whole lot of homemade videos for you guys.
Update: Because we like to brag once in a while, here are two pictures of the collector edition SEGA sent us. :)

I've almost finished this game. I just need to do the Super Sonic boss. I have to say, I'm very impressed with this game. Mainly because of the intense nostalgia. I've played every single game of the corresponding levels in Sonic Generations.
My only qualm is that the game is too short. I know that there are the side missions (most are quite fun). But they take place in the same levels and not new ones. This game could and should have been longer.
My only hope is that SEGA finally decides to be bold and make a Sonic Adventure 3.
