We think we've just played what seems to be one of the worst games ever released on this generation of consoles. Ride to Hell: Retribution is a total disaster, from the moto bike sequences which take away the little fun they could have had by transforming a potential Road Rash experience into a series of boring QTE, to the broken combat mechanics, everything is such a mess it's impossible to describe in a few words. There is absolutely no fun in this title, not even in its dead serious story. Had the developers decided to use a sarcastic or humorous tone, it might have given us a reason to keep playing, but instead, they chose to make it worse than any of Steven Seagal's movies, having us regret Lorenzo Lamas and his 1990s TV series. Yes, Retribution is that bad.

I heard the publisher doesn't provide review copies for this game lol.
The beat them up part is also a disgrace, with awful animations, ridiculous mechanics. Fighting Force wasn't good but at least they had an excuse, it ran on PS1, the hardware was limited. The number of moves is actually less important than in the original Double Dragon, can you believe that? Now the gunplay mechanics are awkward and these passages are never fun to play either, but let's say it's probably the best part of the game, which says much about the whole thing. AI is terrible, level design too, sound effects are missing sometimes and the story is lame (which makes The Renegade an Oscar winning TV series). The only thing that does not feel horribly bad is the music, it's pretty generic considering the setting but at least it can be listened to.
Deadpool is clearly not a good game, but it manages to be funny and playable. I would never advise people to buy it unless they're huge fans of the character and they can find it at a very cheap price. As for Ride to Hell, I wouldn't even advise someone to play it for free. I'm sorry to say that because I always try to respect the work of the developers but this really isn't respectful of us players, especially since Deep Sliver is charging something like €50 for the game here in Europe. But even at $30 in North America, it is still be a major rip off.
At least the game cracks some people up: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/201...
