Tom Clancy's The Division is back once again, except this time it's on PC. Miguel managed to find time to capture some gameplay footage during his lunch break so we all should be thankful. The game runs very smoothly at 1440p with his recently aquired GTX 980 Ti, but he could only record some 1080p videos to maintain a steady framerate with Mirillis Action! All the videos were captured in 5.1, only one of them has already been uploaded.
Note: Chromatic aberrations have been deactivated in these videos.
Update: Second video added.
Update2: 2 videos added.

So it's a 2000€ PC but that does not include the 700€ GSync screen, mouse, keyboard, Logitech Z906, ...
And prices did change, this PC would cost more than 2200€ now.
So I wanted to show videos without it on PC to get a clearer image.
I'm sure if this was tailered especially for high end PC's it could look much better, its obvious that the environmental detail, tessellation , textures real time lighting and draw distance aren't as good as they could have been on PC but so few people own high end PC's that it wouldn't make good business sense to put expensive resources into pleasing less than a few percent of gamers.
The issues I have are with the gun play, it's pretty weak in comparison to even the most unimpressive 3rd person shooter. It's very HBD, and has a reticle conefire system like Uncharted (as Drift pointed out on the stream).
Since you're only allowed into one region in the demo/beta, you can't determine what other aspects the game has besides a quite simple routine: searching for baddies, finding baddies, gathering loot, dealing with merchant inflation.
Overall I'm on the fence. It really plays like a variation of DAYZ, without the zombies or jumbled controls (though there is mouse sensitivity issues). The atmosphere and weather and graphics are nice and all, but it's a cake. You can give it all the eye candy you want, but if it tastes like shit, it's not good. And there is no way of knowing that at this point.
> Lastly, you don't need a *monster* rig to play this. I built this comp like 5 years ago and run it max without any issues.

At what? 10 fps? Or in 800x600 resolution? On "max" this game is unable to sustain 60fps at 1080p resolution on overclocked 980Ti with overclocked i7-6700K.

- Anything else? Game is max 1920x1080 @ 60+fps -- You're broken.

So, I don't want to read anymore whiny bullshit from self-entitled kids needing to have MXAA at full blast in order to be satisfied. It's dumb and beside the point.
