Also i have to say, the game looks amazing. After BF3 i'll probably skip this, just not my cup of tea, but i really hope EA uses frostbite to make more visually stunning games.

Battlefield 4 looks amazing as always, but just like you, I'm also more interested in other Frostbite 3 engine's games like:

Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mirror's Edge, Need for Speed: Rivals, the new Star Wars: Battlefront and the next Mass Effect.

And while not exactly my cup of tea, even Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is looking a lot of fun.

I hear an entertaining, action packed, short lived experience 3.5 hours long. But not a reason to buy it (like all FPS's then basically)

hmmmmm, lets see.

10 new console games is $600 alone. i have 30 console games so that's over $1,800 + tax in new games; and none of them i can play on the next consoles over. so i now have to buy a new console plus 10 new games for that console. ( this not including a membership fee.)

At that point you would pretty much spend less or break even on getting an enthusiast level PC, but at least you can play old and new games at 1080p 60fps ultra settings.

And also don't forget PC parts do drop in price too. the R9 290x (a 5.6 Tflops card) in 2 years it's price should be cut in half by then, to $260. (two of them and you would have 11 Tflops of power.)

this is just in two years from now after the consoles are out. that is what i love about PC gaming; they always stay a head of the game.

If you're just targeting 1080p/60hz.. you're not even looking at a very high end computer anymore. But why would anyone want to live with those limitations? ;)

correction, when the new consoles hit anything past it would be called Nextgen. Ps4 and Xbox one will be current gen. a 16x leap over those consoles = a whole generational leap. (the equivalent of 3 AMD R9 290Xs)

In just 2-3 years time you could generationaly leap the consoles without taking much of a hit to your wallet.

This game has too many explosion. lol. I think Crysis3 has better graphics this games has good animation and atmosphere.
