Since Miguel was kind enough to offer you a big bunch of PC videos of GRID 2, we think that four videos of the 360 version should be more than enough for you to see if the game is worth a try in its console apparel. Hopefully, the choice of the external view won't offend the purists, but it was the best way to show the game's graphics were still impressive on a 8-year-old system. Now don't pay attention to our driving skills, we had very little time to practice since we're very busy reviewing the last AAA to come before the summer.

I dunno, not digging the look of it personally. Looks pretty nice though, in a stylised, "DiRT" sort of way.

Even if the rendering and memory cost wasn't so large, you also need to consider the huge cost of modelling all those interiors. It's akin to making a bunch of tracks which only 5% of players would ever see. It just doesn't make financial sense, especially when game sales are greatly depressed.
Personally i think Codies are finished, Apart from the F1 series they now dont make any good games which is gutting as they were once a great company.

Sorry, but all other much more successful racing games have the cockpit. Even the fucking phone application like Real Racing has it.
I call this laziness and babbling something about telemetric data is just ridiculous.

Better still, load up Maya and model a car interior to production detail and map it. See how long it takes. Then multiply that by how many cars are in a game like this. Don't forget to keep a note on how much memory your interior is going to eat up, and how much you're going to have to cut back on the environments to compensate.

Performance wise PS3 stutters more and more tearing.
