I just can't get over the fact that you can't play the entire campaign in co-op. Totally breaks it for me.

Most anticipated game for me this year!

Megido...atleast there is co-op...period.
Most of these games don't have co-op in any shape or form so the fact TN decided to have this in is great.

There is sopmething called Survival Mode called "speed master", that has some exploration in the levels while fighting, I hope thats in because thats the only mode we could see were you and your friend could "run around"...a bit.

Anyways, October 2 is quite far, but demo next month is awesome!

No for any fan of the genre this is good considering there aren't co-op in any of them like God of War or DMC. Not all ways of co-op work anyway, and if TN sees the main story doesn't work for co-op it doesn't, who are we to judge. They know their games and their own designs better than us.
Besides, in mission mode, the cutscenes and the pre-made Ryu missions are already set, if co-op was to be made in SP then they had to redesign the entire SP from scratch which they won't do because of the NG2 remake.

I remember fans of DMC wanted co-op when Nero was announced with Dante along side, but Capcom didn't add it.

NG isn't even suppose to have co-op period, so co-op mission mode is something new to NG and I consider it great addition.

wow haha bullshots...the game looks nice enough in motion, but if it looked like these screens it would easily be one of the best looking console games

I,ve played the 360 version and i must say that ninja gaiden 2 is the most difficult game that i ever played. i almost broke it in a thousand pieces. I hope the PS3 to be more for-everyone-game than the xbox version was. In a certain point is not about the fun anymore , you just want to beat the game. And that can be very frustrating for many people!

I can think of 10 great reasons to buy NG2 again. Ten great, big, round reasons.

No interest at all in buying it again. It would be amazing though if the real game was that crisp looking.

Well i don't see why 360 gamers who arent a fan of NG would buy the "same game", especially when NGS2 was specifically for PS3 owners ONLY in mind.
Ps. It got so much new content enough in it so that its not considered the same game.

granted those are bullshots but I won't be surprised if the game looks like that because NGS 1 had an incredible level of clarity to which screenshot (non-bullshot version) would've failed to pick up, many games suffer from the fact that alot of effects and motion can't be captured in screenshots, thus the bullshots just make up for the visual experience you most likely get (this is only the case sometimes).

Well I have seen the trailer of NGS2 like many others, and I love how it looks, so these screens are just screens for me and they look great and all, but I have also seen the trailers and Hd videos of it to know I personally really like how it looks like.
Yes I seen the trailers in both 720p and 1080p HDTV, looks fantastic.

Finally? It's not something I just realized :S
But the fact they implemented co-op as a seperated mode from story is good. Story in NG should be only SP experience period because it's about Ryu as it always have been.
Besides I don't want to take care of a AI, thats why story should be s SP experience only, and a seperate mode for 2 player only in mission modes, Hayashi made a great decision to do this.
