Everyone at this site seems to only care about graphics! Why else would there be comments for this amazing game?

You are right, so starting today, I won't ever news something about the Wii, because obviously I'm just a graphics whore, and I don't give a shit about gameplay, fun, replay value, sound, originality, and so on.

I uh, I don't think he meant "everyone" as in those who run the site. Rather those who frequent it and post comments.

I think no comments is a refreshing change of pace from the usual turd catapulting that goes on in most Wii comments threads.

I own a Wii and still realize graphics are important. Would you date an ugly chick? I'm sure you'd try your hardest not to. Looks do matter, its just not everything.

You can like really ugly chicks if it's A) all you're likely to get, or B) you really fancy them.

I... think that pretty much applies to nintendo fanboys and gamers interested in a game's mechanics respectively.

Is she rich? Amazing in bed? Too many factors involved.

Graphics to me only last for 5 minutes, after you get over the initial wow, while gameplay is eternal...

Anyway, i'm picking up NiGHTs even if it's just a rehash of the saturn classic because it was that good!

Fly through hoops on rails, switch to little kids and throw stuff, back to Nights (or whatever they are called) and fly through more hoops on rails.

I guess it's because I never played the original, but I just don't get it.

That's a problem at a lot of gaming sites, really. There are a lot of enthusiasts that would rather have pretty graphics over incredible gameplay any day, and I can see some of that reflected here. This game, like it's predecessor, will be incredible and just something so unique that really nothing but it's predecessor can even be compared with it. Sega is making an incredible effort to not only revive the spirit of NiGHTS, but to add tons and tons of new content without destroying the gameplay.

Yeah, If I hadn't played the original way back in the day, this wouldn't seem like much to me. I miss these kinds of games! I'm also tired of boring but very slick looking games. Well, I guess I'm just more interested in 90s game genres and not so much FPS or 3rd person action really(save a few)
Speaking of that, have any of you guys played Contra 4? WOW!
