The PS4 launched, Sony decides today to give us a glimpse of the near future of its console. Here are some new pictures of inFamous: Second Son, coming out in March 2014.
Pics 4 and 7 are very promising in terms of really showing a great sense of environmental atmosphere and detail. As much as I was underwhelmed by the first two games I have to admit the more I see the more I think Seattle was a wonderful choice. I really hope they can pull this off an fits not another killzone situation.

This might be worth getting a PS4 for, game looks absolutely amazing.
I hope he gets more powers than that though, a power to bend metal a la Magneto would be so awesome. :D
course as with the other infamous games you gain more powers as you go along the game but in this one you can drain special powers from other people with abilities too
so if you come across someone using a power you want I think you can drain it from them

@xoar - aside from the supersampling, yes, it looks that good. Every preview has said as much. IQ is ridiculous.
I clearly see worse lightning (umbrella doesn't have surface scatter). The effects them self look far too flat and low res(especially those bullet trails...this aint ps2). Next to aliasing, lower res textures overall(look at the shoes),lightning and shadow artifacts and much more. Its not breaking the game or making it look like shit, but developers need to stop making the "ps3 killzone demo" move.

Now show me a comparison to everything you just mentioned. Find a earlier screenshot of an umbrella with surface scatter. Find a picture of delsins shoes to compare to these ones.
There is no downgrade, only improvements. They're blatantly apparent. The floor wasn't even reflective in the original footage. It was like watchdogs, i put it down to open world games not being able to achieve it...but hey, sucker punch hit it out the park and have real time reflections on everything. See, upgrades.
Hey..wait. I got a new complaint. Forever in debt, to your priceless advise. (I love that song!) Anyway, Infamous Second Son will be the first runaway hit for the PS4 (as far as 1st party titles go)
Only game shown so far that has me willing to move into next gen consoles. Watch dogs was first tempting but I can just grab that on the PC in order to avoid initial console purchase.

While looking incredible on certain screenshots it can show a whole lot of aliasing, lack of reflections and blurred textures on others. Such contradiction confuse the heck out of me. Reminds alot of Watch Dogs slew of screenshots/reveal/Aisha.
I'm not too impressed by this game. Infamous games have always had a generic vibe to them. It's still there. It's like, the game to get after you already have the AAA titles in your library.
