So because i think this intended humor is nothing but cheap and stupid i only want sequels? If we flip it around it's you and not me who is sitting here yucking it up to something solely based on recognition. Funny games are funny, Brutal Legend was funny, Monkey Island 1 and 2 are funny, Leisure suite Larry is funny and so fort. This is not. I love original games and ideas but nothing but the IP itself feels especially original here.

There are two other vids as well which are not parodies. Plus the trailer you are referencing is a parody (teddy bears being evil) within another parody (alien), which imo does make it quite funny.

Well if you are trying to be funny at least come up with something that has a little more substance than the juxtaposition of cute cuddly bears being bad. The concept as such is not bad, it could be funny and entertaining but you have to do more than just having a cheesed off teddy bear killing other bears. I'm questioning why people drool over this, cause it looks really lacking in quality imo. The dev doesn't exactly have an especially impressive list of games either (unless you think Kung Fu panda, High School Musical and WET are great games i guess). So to sum up, it lacks any semblance of funny, the graphics look below average and we've seen no actual gameplay yet. There's very little to be had here for me.

I really hope Death Spank delivers, cause god knows the industry needs a funny game written by someone who isn't mentally retarded. If Naughty Bear proves anything so far it's how much we need the Tim Schafers and Ron Gilberts to stay and make more games.

Jack Black's delivery was atrocious and broke the game completly for me... with a different voice it could have been good, because facial animation was quite good, but for Christ sake... Jack Black?! He's like the kid who's always trying desperatly toooooo hard to make you laugh.

No Sir: Brutal Legend ISN'T funny!

Brutal legend, as a game, wasn't all that great. But the writing is, at the very least, entertaining and delivered in a way that it should make most people who like rock smile. If you didn't like Jack Black that doesn't really make the writing any worse and personally i think this is the one type of character where he actually works. When i talk about funny i don't mean "wow that was a fun game to play!" i mean stuff that actually makes me smile and laugh.
