I love blur. A lot.

Luckily I will never be playing 4 player mode, though for fun you don't need high-end graphics.

Somehow I sense that Motorstorm 1 looked better, visually. But I could be mistaken as I haven't played this intallment yet to judge the game with my own eyes.

This could be true in a technical way. The tracks are likely more than would fit in ram which means streaming and with 4 players that is alot of info to keep track of. I'm not really sure split-screen is worth the performance cost.

Personally I think it beats the first in movement, it looks stunning but doesn't lend itself well to still images.

Splitscreen inclusion doesn't seem to have hurt R2 as much, then again since SP is just one person with no co-op option they can probably optimize it a lot more. Still looks great to me, for racing games splitscreen is nice, there are people in my house that like to play those type of games with me. In shooters and other games though, get rid of it......

Why is it most of the videos and screenshots that I've seen for Motorstorm 2 dont even come close to reflecting the visual splendour of the game, I mean I've played the demo and it is probably going to be one of the greatest looking games this year. You can see the epicness in the video of the MS2 demo Blim Blim uploaded, thank the high heavens that there is one site that can provide High Quality HD Videos. Keep up the great work Blim Blim and affiliates of Gamersyde.

In motion it looks amazing but still it just doesn't. How old are these shots? I definitely think the updated build shots IGN posted looked a bit better.

even the blurred SP images look god awful I remember when MS1 was showing off images etc I was pretty amazed, but this just looks very poor graphically crap texturing and foilage (again only on about SP). Probably looks decent in motion but that would largely be because of the blur, Pure looks good even before you start racing and flatout ultimate carnage I could pause and admire at almost any time, but by the look of what I've seen is an eye sore till you are moving and once you slow down back to the eye sore.

Your right Motorstorm1 did look better, but i think there trying to bring more to table this time so the visuals have suffered.

These screens reminds me the situation with for example: Killzone 2, Gears Of War 2 (multiplayer) and Fable 2 screens (all of those games (+ Motostorm Pacific Rift of course) looks many times better in motion than on the some of the screenshots). After playing the demo many times I've got feeling the final product will be better almost in every aspect than the first one.

BTW New trailer of Motostorm PR with Slipknot kicks ass! Simply awesome!

i agree....although LOL @ the 4 way split screen, looks like ass...good thing 2 way split holds up well, at least going by the demo.
